Willa Rebecca Taylor

Willa Rebecca Bell Taylor, 92, of Statesville, died Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Gordon Hospice House.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Iredell County on January 10, 1927, to the late Ernest Ray and Ina Bell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Troy Taylor, Jr. and a daughter; Wanda T. Asher.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and was retired from JP Stevens.
She is survived by her children, a son; Jeff Taylor (Kim), of Statesville, and 2 daughters; Nancy Cash (Ronny) of Statesville, and Brenda Haynes, of Sparta, NC, a son-in-law; Kevin Asher, 9 grandchildren; Chris Campbell, Tim Campbell, David Campbell, Kristi Mixson, Shelley Bowman, Kimberly Jones, Ian Taylor, Canaan Taylor, and Mackenzie Taylor. Also surviving are 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, and close friends; Judy Holland and Pat Roberson.
A graveside service will be held Monday, April 15, 2019 at 4:00 pm at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Darren Johnson and Chris Campbell officiating. The family will speak with friends following the service.
