Trillis Frye Queen, 86, of Statesville died Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.
She was born on November 15, 1934, in Iredell County to the late Henry Frye and Zella Drum Frye. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Queen and a son, John Wayne Queen.
Mrs. Queen loved watching the Atlanta Braves, bowling, cooking, and going to the beach. More than anything, she loved her family and especially loved them all gathering for all holidays.
“Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Denise Privette (Mike), Toni Ladd, Pam Cash (Chris), six grandchildren, Michelle Davidson (Eric), Tiffany Privette, Cheryl Twigger (Chad), Darrin Land (Kristi), Shane Privette (Stephanie), John Galliher (Jennifer), ten great-grandchildren, Anna, Dakota, Jay, Finn, Rylie, Kaylee, Khloe, Harlan, Ezra, Sage, one great-great-grandchild, Brooklynn, and a daughter-in-law, Janet Queen.
Private Services were held, and burial was at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
