Tony Roe Hedrick, 60, of Statesville, went to be with our Lord unexpectedly Saturday, June 29, 2013, leaving behind his family whom loved him very much. Mr. Hedrick was born November 24, 1952 in Iredell County and was the son of the late Jesse Roe Hedrick and Lizzie Campbell Hedrick. He attended Statesville City Schools and Mitchell Community College. On February 14, 1970 he was married to Debby Kiser Hedrick, who was his wife for 43 wonderful years. He was the President of Hedrick Machine and Fabrication, Inc. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and his dogs, Sugar and Tazy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jesse Hedrick (Pam) of Statesville, Jason Hedrick (Sherrill) of Statesville, four grandchildren, Lizabeth Hedrick, Bridget Baily (Jason), Tony Dillion Hedrick (Jessica Richardson), Brianna Hedrick, two great grandchildren, Calla Mallory, Emma Hedrick, two brothers, Eddie Hedrick (Dollie) of Statesville, Huey Hedrick of Hickory and one sister, Kay Bustle of Statesville. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Monroe and Johnny Hedrick. The family will be all together some day. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Raymond Kiser and Glenn Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:30-3:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home. Active and Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Curley, Ken Staley, Mitch Kiser, Bill Elliott, Shane Russ, Jeff Hager, Jeff Byers, Mike Munday, Shane Kiser and Keith Robbins. Memorials may be made to Fifth St. Ministries or to the charity of the donor's choice. Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the family.
