Tommy “Topcat” Campbell of Statesville, passed away, November 15, 2016 at Davis Regional Hospital. He was born on March 11, 1941, to the late Andrew and Grace Knox Campbell. He was a veteran of the US Army and was stationed in England. He was a long haul truck driver for 45 years and was currently employed with ACE Transport, until his death. He was a very simple, humble, hardworking man and would do anything for anyone he knew. He was one “cool cat” and one of a kind. Friends may remember him driving his favorite truck “Ole Blue” and spinning tires. Survivors are his soul mate Shelba, his special children, Andy, Kelsey, Donna, Charlotte, Trent, Dreema and Moke (Kathy). His grandkids are Keelin, Lauren, Ryan, Arkadin; two brothers, George Campbell (Caroline) Roy Campbell (Karen), one sister, Betty Wooten (Bill) and several special nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to give thanks to Andrea, Laura and Katie for their kind help, also to Bill and Tyler.
