Thomasville, Mr. Terry Williamson went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 23rdafter a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Davidson County to the late Harley Skeet and Pearl Rabon. He will be remembered as a friendly man who loved his Lord and as a faithful servant. Terry was a graduate of Thomasville High School and was on the wrestling team and Football team. He was wrestling team captain his senior year. He also attended The North Carolina College of Theology. He never met a stranger and loved to talk and would to anybody who would listen, especially about Jesus. Terry decided that since the World has shut down and that the Panthers and Orioles were struggling to win a championship that it was time for him to go to Heaven and lend a hand there. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Christa Williamson and Preston Williamson, both of Thomasville, brother Jim (Donna) Williamson, of Thomasville, and his four-legged child, Peanut. He is also survived by many extended family members, neighbors, and friends, including his lifelong friendRodney Thrift. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm,January 2nd, 2021 at The Well Church, officiated by Huey Turner and Jesse Beard. The family would like to thank the staff of Thomasville Medical, Lexington Medical Center, and Hospice of Davidson County and The Hinkle House staff. The family ask that in honor of Terry you wear your favorite Orioles orange or Carolina Panthers attire to his celebration of life service (go Os and Keep Poundin).
