TRINITY- Mr. Terry Franklin Cooke, 66, of Trinity, NC passed away May 16, 2021 at High Point Regional Hospital. Mr. Cooke was born in Winston-Salem, NC on October 3, 1954 to the late Cemon Wilson and Ella Kinyoun Cooke and was employed by Council Craftsman Furniture before retiring after 10 years of service. Terry was a furniture finisher there and was extremely proud of his work. In his spare time he loved woodworking, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He loved everybody and everybody who met him loved him. Terry never met a stranger and he was full of life. He loved music and singing and loved serving the Lord with his talent as he sang in a gospel group. More recently Terry touched the lives of many by sharing his beautiful voice through karaoke show performances. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cooke is preceded in death by his brother Cemon Wilson "Bud" Cooke, Jr. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Debora Ann Lee Cooke of Trinity, son Terry Franklin Cooke, Jr. and fiancee Cheyenne Wilson of Kernersville, sister Debbie LeMasters (Mike) of Denton, two brothers Danny Cooke (Donna) of Lexington and Phillip Cooke of Lexington, granddaughter Keely Stewart, great-grandson Draco Stewart, nieces and nephews Evan Adams, Austin Cooke, Bethany Thompson, Sarah LeMasters, Shawn Scott, Keely Cooke, and Chase Cooke. A Celebration of Life memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at House of Hope in Lexington, NC. The family will receive friends there one hour prior to the service.
