Teresa Jane Sechrist Patton

Teresa Jane Sechrist Patton, age 62, of New London, NC, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 in Greenville, SC.  Born on December 18, 1961 in Davidson County, NC, she was the daughter of Barbara Ann Foust Childress and the late Bobby Joe Sechrist.

Teresa was a longtime member of Spirit and Truth United Church of Worship in Albemarle, NC.  Teresa had a passion for crocheting and enjoyed sharing this passion with others.  She had a "heart of gold" and loved everyone.  Teresa was an avid Carolina Panthers Football fan.

In addition to her father, Bobby Joe Sechrist, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Bobby Leon Norman.  Left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Brittany Nicole Patton; son, Bobby Lee Norman (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Haisley Elizabeth Norman, Adyan Dakota Greene, Zachary William Styron, Issabelle Snow Styron; sisters, Patricia and Keith Beasley of Thomasville, and Jody and Jeff Crisco of Oakboro; and brother, Kenneth and Mitzi Nealey of High Point.

A Celebration of her Life will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Nicholson Funerals & Cremations, Thomasville Chapel.
