Mrs. Sylvia Maxine Everhart DuVall, 80, of Lexington, NC passed away February 4, 2020 at Accordius Health at Lexington, NC. The daughter of the late Seaford Edsel and Mary Golden Leonard Everhart, Sylvia worked as a customer service agent and cashier for Lowes Home Improvement for 22 years before retiring. She was a loving mother, devoted to her family, loved to shop, and was a faithful caregiver to her Mom. In addition to her parents, Sylvia was predeceased by her daughter Donna Jean Black Bedsole and her brother Joel Everhart. She is survived by sons Mike Black (Menna Clark) and Ray Black (all of Lexington), 7 grandchildren Samantha Black Reich, Jayson Black, Brandon Leonard, and Sylvia Navarrete (Ramon) (all of Lexington), Sammie Jo Conrad and Peter Black (both of Germany), and Charles Black of High Point, 5 great-grandchildren James Black, Braden Cannady, Kinley Reich, Jayce Black, and Luna Navarrete, and former spouse Gene Black. A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Pilgrim Reformed Church, 797 Pilgrim Church Rd, Lexington, NC. A meal will be served to the immediate family after the service.
