Steven "Steve" Miller

Steven Lynn “Steve” Miller, 61, of Stony Point died Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Frye Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Iredell County on June 26, 1961, to the late James Harry Miller, Jr. and Marjorie Morrison Miller.
Steve graduated from Alexander Central High School and worked for Kewaunee. He was a quiet, gentle soul and made many lifetime friends. He learned to fly planes and had a private pilot’s license, and thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent in the air.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 28 years, Terry Counts Miller, two sons, Daniel Miller and Benjamin Miller, and a sister, Emily Poole and her husband, Freddie.
A Graveside Service will be held Monday, April 3, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Stony Point UMC Cemetery with Pastor James Lewis officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday evening from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home.
