Shirley Ann Gravitt Swisher

Shirley Ann Gravitt Swisher, age 87, of Kernersville, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Novant Health-Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. Born on May 18, 1936, in Rockingham County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Odell Merrit Gravitt and Era Mae Ramsey Gravitt.

Shirley loved and was the proud and dedicated owner of a bar in Greensboro. She also retired from Gilbarco and AT&T.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Pendry. Left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Robin Swisher Ellingson; grandchildren, Dustin Ellingson and Chase Ellingson; and sisters, Betty Corley and Nancy White.

 

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Mausoleum at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville.
