Sheila Ann Clendenin

Sheila Ann Clendenin, 72, passed away Saturday , April 15, 2023. At Gordon Hospice House.
Sheila was born in Iredell County on June 4 1950 to the late John Atwell Holland and Ruby Sprinkle Holland. She graduated from North Iredell High School. Sheila retired from Thomasville Furniture as an administrator after over 45 years of service. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Sheila was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Sheila loved to travel and going on family vacations, one of her favorite places was the beach.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray Carson Clendenin Jr., sisters, DeLois Prevette and Norma Bustle.
Sheila is survived by her sons, Steven Goodwin (Theresa) and Charles Goodwin; step-sons, Everett Clendenin (Cindy) and Tripp Clendenin (Donette) grandchildren Carson Clendenin, Cam Clendenin and Will Clendenin; and goddaughter, Addie Lentz.
A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Friday, April 21, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church located at 149 New Hope Road, Statesville NC 28625, with Reverend Dale Ellis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations to assist with funeral costs either be made to Nicholson Funeral Home or given directly to family at time of the service.
