Sandy Hines

Sandra Louise Stewart Hines, 63, of Statesville, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. She was born in Iredell County on November 24, 1951 to the late Thomas Newell Stewart Sr. and Ethel Robinette Stewart. Sandy was a graduate of South Iredell High School and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She was a homemaker most of her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Hines. She is survived by a son, Jesse Hines (Melissa), two granddaughters, Madison Barnette and Ali Hines; a brother, Tommy Stewart; a sister, Linda Plyler; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Sandy Hines will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beulah Baptist Church Building Fund, 1851 Old Mountain Road, Statesville, NC 28677.
