Sandra Malone Nash Johnson

Sandra Malone Nash Johnson, 75, of Statesville, passed away on August 17, 2019 at Abernathy Laurels.
Born on August 9, 1944 in Iredell County, she was the daughter to the late Jim Riley and Marcus Tootie Privette Nash. Sandra was a residential cleaner and loved her two grandchildren, dancing, sunbathing, motorcycles and Elvis.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Cassandra Johnson.
Left to cherish her loving memory are her children, Wayne (Littel) Johnson Jr. and Kim (Shawn) Messick; two grandsons, Justin Tyler Byrd and Myles Dean Johnson; three sisters and many other loving family members.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Nicholson Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service. Burial will follow at a later date at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
