Rosemary Byars Kepley, a beloved daughter of Davidson County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on September 18, 1945, Rosemary spent her entire life in the community she cherished and continually gave back to through her work and personal connections.
A devoted professional, Rosemary served as Vice President of a local staffing agency, where her dedication and kindness left a lasting impact on countless colleagues and clients. Her work was not just a career but an extension of her love for people, as she never met a stranger and touched many lives and hearts with her warmth and generosity.
Outside of her professional life, Rosemary had a zest for simple pleasures and cherished activities. She enjoyed playing games, drawing, and watching television. Yard sales were a favorite pastime, where she delighted in the thrill of discovering new treasures. Above all, Rosemary loved the public and her family deeply, always putting them at the heart of everything she did.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Byars and Marietta Everett, her spouse of 53 years Chester "Reid" Kepley, and her son, David Reid Kepley. She is survived by her sons, Jonathan Kepley and his wife Mary Alice, and Keith Kepley and his wife Lavonne, who will forever hold her memory close. She also leaves behind her brother Rodney Byars of Thomasville and her sister Anita Adams of Kernersville, along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched by her loving spirit.
In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held at this time. Her family invites all who knew her to join them in celebrating the remarkable woman she was-a woman who loved openly, lived fully, and left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Rosemary Byars Kepley's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her memory will forever be a blessing to those she leaves behind.
