Rose Marie Oliver

Rose Marie Owenby Oliver, 52, of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Davis Regional Medical Center. She was born March 1, 1960 in Iredell County and was the daughter of Vernie Mae Taylor. Mrs. Oliver was a graduate of Iredell County Schools and Mitchell Community College and on March 18, 2012 was married to Russell Raymond Oliver, who survives. She was a member of Marvin Methodist Church and she was disability retired. In addition to her mother and husband she is also survived by a daughter, Crystal Loftin and a grandson, Erik Martinez, both of Statesville. She is further survived by one sister, three brothers, a special friend and caregiver, Tracey along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Oliver will be conducted 10:30 AM Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matt Emery officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 11:30 Thursday, following the service.
