Ronald Dean Williams, 66, of Statesville, died Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at his residence.
He was born in Iredell County on August 31, 1953 to the late Dewey Vestal Williams, Sr. and Esther Steele Williams. He was also preceded in death by a sister; Wanda Kay Williams, and 2 nieces; Teresa Waugh and Donna Tamarazzo.
Ronnie was a self-employed handyman and mechanic and enjoyed working on lawnmowers. He liked guns and watching television, especially westerns and wrestling.
He is survived by 2 brothers; Donald Gene Williams, of Arkansas, Vestal Williams, Jr. of Statesville, 2 sisters; JoAnn Benfield (Steve) of Statesville, Doris Campbell (Steven) of Statesville, nieces and nephews; Randy Moose, Melinda Millsaps, Jennifer Riggs, Patricia Riggs, Terrie Maclean, Nancy Pidgeon, Jackie Riggs, Don Allen Williams, Brooke Williams and Sharon Welborn, and his dog, Sugar.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 pm with Pastor James Lewis officiating.
