Robert Joseph Truitt

Robert Joseph R.J. Truitt passed away February 1, 2020 at his home. He was born November 25, 1978 to Alvis Truitt and Sharon Wallace. R. J. was best known for his love of family, friends and good food. He was the most amazing brother and uncle anyone could ask for. He worked hard, no matter what he was doing. He will be missed by all who knew him. R.J. was preceded in death by his father, Alvis Truitt and nephew, Austin Shoaf. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Wallace, stepmother, Wanda Spradlin; sisters, Patricia Willard and her husband Bobby, Tammy Hernandez and her husband Will; brothers, Alvis Truitt and his wife Jessica, Tommy Shaw; nieces and nephews, Tiffany Spradlin, Katie Willard, Taylor Willard, Kaylee Shaw, Kelsey Shaw, Kara Shaw, Matthew Hernandez, Dylan Hernandez, Nathalia Hernandez, Lauren Norman, Hunter Truitt, Levi Simrell, Lillie Campbells and Logan Truitt. A gathering of friends and family will be Saturday, February 15, 4- 6 pm at Bales Memorial Wesleyan Church, 1001 Bales Chapel Road, Jamestown.
