Robert William Rogers

Mr. Robert William Rogers, 70, of Statesville, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born in Iredell County on May 8, 1944, he was a son of the late Jessie Pinkney Rogers and Mildred Johnston Rogers who survives. He was retired from Troutman Foundry and enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and water sports. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Colburn Rogers and a sister, Barbara Harrelson. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Patricia Sherrill Rogers, a daughter, Alisha Johnson and her husband, Lynn, of Statesville, a brother, David Rogers of Troutman and a grand daughter, Lyndsey Johnson. Services celebrating Robert's life will be conducted at 2:00 Friday at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. J. B. Parker, Jr. officiating.
