Robert Vernon LaMere

Robert Bob Vernon LaMere, 70, of Lexington, formerly of Jamestown, NY, passed away on Friday November 20, 2020 at his home. He was born November 13, 1950 to the late Clarence and Marion LaMere in Keeseville, NY. Bob and his beloved wife of 48 years moved to North Carolina in 2009. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. In his later years Bob enjoyed reading, crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Mary LaMere;sister, Cynthia LaMere; brother, William LaMere, Sr.; children, Kristie Meadows, Carrie (Ryan) Robertson, Robert Bobby LaMere, Cory Anthony and Lacy Anthony; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Paul LaMountain, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. He is also preceded in death by his precious granddaughter, Mercedes.
