Ricky Lee Redmond

Ricky Lee Redmond, 60, of Statesville, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at his home. He was born in Iredell County on May 1, 1956, and was the son of the late Phillip Lee and Loretta Pennington Redmond.  He was a graduate of Statesville High School and Mitchell Community College. Mr. Redmond was formerly employed with Thomasville Upholstery.  Mr. Redmond is survived by a son, Dustin Redmond and his wife Kalie of Statesville and a sister, Patty R. Lanier and her husband Sidney, of Forsyth County along with many extended family. A memorial service honoring Mr. Redmond will be conducted at 5:30 pm Friday, November 25, 2016, in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sidney Lanier officiating.  The family will visit with friends immediately following the service.
