Raymond Parks

Raymond Parks, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, NC.
Mr. Parks retired from the United States Coast Guard and worked for the City of Port Angeles, WA upon his retirement. For years after his retirement, he would ride his Honda Goldwing to Alaska in the Summer and then return every Fall.
In addition to his parents, Raymond L. Wells and Colean B. Wells, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Cherry Parks; his sons, Robert Lloyd Parks and Dale Weldon Parks. He is survived by his daughter, Diana Parks of Port Angeles, WA; and his brother, Stewart Parks of Raleigh, NC.

At Mr. Parks' request, his cremated remains will be laid to rest with his late wife, Jeanette at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington, NC on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 1:00 pm. Arrangements are with Nicholson Funerals & Cremations, Thomasville Chapel.
