Ray Lynn Ball

Ray Lynn Ball, 67, of Statesville died Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Gordon Hospice House.
He was born in Iredell County on March 22, 1954, to Sarah Pauline Plyler Ball and the late Hugh Gurney Ball.
Ray retired from ESC in Troutman. He loved golfing, fishing, drag racing, going to the beach and to Gatlinburg.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Karon Johnson Ball, sons, Casey Ball (Rebecca), Stephen Ball (Inge), stepson, Jeffrey McHargue, 9 grandchildren, Blake, Destiny, Mercedes, John, Jayda, Braxton, Marley, Caden, Baylor, 4 great-grandchildren, Xander, Tazzen, Violet, and Oliver. A brother, Wayne Ball (Diana), and a sister, Paulette Willis also survive.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 6:00 pm in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Curtis White and Wayne Ball officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
