Mr. Ralph Eugene Reavis, 84, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Brookstone Terrace in Clemmons. Mr. Reavis was born in Iredell County on April 3, 1932, and was the son of the late Kenneth B. and Esma Smith Reavis. He was a graduate of Harmony High School and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Reavis was retired from Southern Screw Company after 29 years of service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Reavis was preceded in death by a sister, Linda R. Doby. He is survived by a son, Bobby Reavis (Debbie) of Statesville and a daughter, Jonell Hutchinson (Roger) of Clemmons along with a sister, Dorothy R. Mayberry (John) of Harmony. He is also survived by a grandson, Brad Reavis (Ashlie) of Statesville, a step-grandson, Ian Hutchinson and a step-granddaughter, Lauren H. Clark (David), both of Winston-Salem, along with two great-granddaughters, Addison and Briley Reavis of Statesville. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Reavis will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, May 9, 2016, at Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Dr. J.B. Parker, Jr. officiating.
