Rachel Keller Curlee

Mrs. Rachel Elizabeth Keller Curlee, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Gordon Hospice House.
Born on August 13, 1927 in Iredell County, she was the daughter to the late Troy Elree Keller Sr. and Ethel Barker Keller Fox. Mrs. Curlee retired from JC Penny where she worked in the office. She was a Member of New Salem United Methodist Church. Mrs. Curlee loved her cats and dogs and enjoyed her trips riding motorcycles to Florida and other places with her husband.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 60 plus years, Thomas Nelson Curlee; brother, Troy E. Keller Jr. and her sweet dog, Darla.
Left to cherish her loving memory is her nieces, Torie Ammon and husband Andy and Lockley Neeley and her husband Andrew; special friend, Bud Rhyne and a host of loving family members.
A funeral service celebrating Mrs. Curlee’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 3pm in the chapel of Nicholson Funeral Home.
The family will gather and receive friends after the service.
A private Entombment will take place at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Mrs. Curlee’s name to Iredell County Hospice and Palliative Care, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
