Mrs. Peggy Ann Summers

Peggy Ann Elmore Summers, 85, of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2022.
Peggy was born July 10, 1937, to Mr. William Elmore and Mrs. Bessie Elmore.
Peggy, with her husband Joe were proud to be the owner and operator of the Breakfast Shop in Statesville during the 1980’s. Peggy then worked for K&W Cafeteria for 18 years until her retirement in 2010.
She was a pet lover, loved collecting pictures and collectibles of Angels and Butterflies. She Enjoyed Baking for the holidays and being around her family, children and grandchildren.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe Summers, sisters, Ruby Mae Elmore Hinson, Nellie Jo Elmore Terrell and Alice Elmore, brothers, Clifford Elmore and William “Bill” Elmore.
She is survived by her sons, Edward Ross Bradshaw and Keith Douglas Bradshaw; sister Louella Elmore Davis; grandson, Edward Ross Bradshaw Jr.; granddaughters, Noelle Bradshaw, Jennifer Bradshaw, Pamela Summers and Heather Summers; stepson, Jody Summers; daughter-in-law, Linda Summers; stepdaughter, Kiki Summers; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
