Paula Sue Terrell Barr, 56, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Barr was born June 4, 1955 in Fayette, MO and was the daughter of Lynn F. Terrell and the late Letha Hendrix Terrell. She was a graduate of New Franklin High School in New Franklin, MO and on November 27, 1981, she married Charles D. Barr, who survives. Mrs. Barr was employed with Phillip Morris where she worked as a computer tech specialist. She was a member of Monticello Baptist Church and the Women's Study Group. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Barr was also preceded in death by a son, Charles D. Barr, II, who passed away on July 30, 2000, a brother, Mark D. Terrell, father-in-law, Raymond C. Barr, brother-in-law, Steven Bradley and sister-in-law, Louise Barr. Mrs. Barr is survived by her father, Lynn T. Terrell of New Franklin, MO, her husband, Charles D. Barr, Sr. of Statesville; one son, Brandon W. Barr of Phoenix, AZ, and one daughter, Amanda M. Barnette of Statesville. She is also survived by three sisters, Vicky Thorton (Jerry), Rebecca Gentry (Tim) and Sheila Bradley, all of New Franklin, MO, five granddaughters, Jamie L. Bauguess of Statesville, Julie M, Montana B. and Gracie A Barnette, also of Statesville and Emmalie N. Barr of Boonville, MO. She is further survived by her mother-in-law, Connie N. Barr, special sister-in-law, Shelby Sherrill (Tony) in addition to three more sister-in-laws, Betty S. Kurley and Ruth E. Foster (Mark), all of Statesville, and Candy Terrell of New Franklin, MO and three brother-in-laws, James R. Barr (Jay) of Statesville, Billy J. Barr (Kathy) of Taylorsville and Roger L Barr (Lana) of Bassett, VA. Funeral services for Mrs. Barr will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, April 20, 2012 at Monticello Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Henderson officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday evening from 6:30 until 8:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home.
