Patsy (Perry) Harris

Mrs. Patsy Perry Harris, 69, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, June 03, 2015, at the Gordon Hospice House. Mrs. Harris was born in Iredell County on February 7, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Oscar Monroe and Helen Harris Perry.  She was a graduate of Celeste Henkel High School and she also attended Mitchell Community College.  She was married to Larry N. Harris, Sr., who preceded her in death on December 31, 2012.  Mrs. Harris attended Eufola Baptist Church and she was a member of the Statesville Artist Guild. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rebecca Morrison. She is survived by two sons, Larry N. Harris, Jr. (Susan) and Patrick N. Harris along with two daughters, Susan H. Belanger (Paul) and Sandra H. Holman, all of Statesville.  She is also survived by seven grandsons, four great grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Patsy Harris will be conducted 6:00 PM Saturday, June 6, 2015, in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Otis Johnson officiating.  The family will visit with friends immediately following the service.  Burial will be at a later date in the Salisbury National Cemetery.
