Patrick Edward Robinson, 72, of Statesville, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Sitka, Alaska on October 25, 1942 to the late Lewis Dewey and Elnore Eileen Jahnke Robinson. Patrick was a graduate of Red Bluff High School in Red Bluff, CA and served his country honorably during the Vietnam War while serving in the U. S. Navy. On December 22, 1962, he married Dianne Alice Calvi and they had over 52 years of marriage before his passing. He was retired from IBM after thirty years of service as a customer engineer and programmer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Arlene Robinson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dianne; four sons, Michael E. Robinson (Lydia), Patrick J. Robinson, David A .Robinson (Patty), and Sean J. Robinson (Yuko). Also surviving are grandchildren: Dianne, Liam, Zoe, Olivia, Matthew, Rory, Hiroto, Takumi and Reina. Additional survivors include many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends along with special people, Elsie Houston and Louise and Mert Young, who all meant so much to Pat. A funeral mass will be conducted Tuesday, February 19th at 11:00 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Thomas Kessler officiating.
