Patricia Trammell Shaw

Patricia Trammell Shaw, aged 66, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, in Davidson County, North Carolina. Born on June 3, 1958, in Danville, Virginia, Patricia lived a life filled with dedication to her family, her work, and her passions.

Patricia devoted over 40 years to the culinary industry, with five years spent as a Dietary Cook for Sides Creek Minors. Her career was a testament to her commitment to nourishing those around her.

Outside of work, Patricia found joy in many pursuits. She loved spending time at the beach, enjoyed the thrill of bowling, and had a fondness for visiting Cherokee casinos. Traveling was another passion that brought her happiness and adventure.

She was a supporter of St. Jude's Children's Hospital, reflecting her caring and generous spirit. Patricia is preceded in death by her father, Manuel Ernest Trammell Sr. She leaves behind a loving family, including her significant other of 23 years, Harry Speaks; her daughter Sandra Shaw; her son William Shaw; her sisters Tina Koonts (Jakes) and Tammy Trammell (Robert); her brother Junior Trammell; step-mother Josephine Trammel  and two cherished nieces, Cindy Darnell and Emily Trammell. Patricia also held dear her special friends Debbie Zarate and Patt Hill, along with Louise Benge (John).

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held at this time. To honor Patricia's memory, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
