Patricia Fowler Presley, age 80, of Thomasville, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point. Born on October 9, 1942, in Transylvania County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. Fowler and Edith Pressley Fowler.
Patricia was a lifetime resident of Thomasville. She was a woman of faith who loved her Lord and Saviour and was a member of Silver Valley Church of God. Patricia had a "big heart" who loved her family and cherished her church. She had a passion for painting, enjoyed taking care of canaries and even enjoyed fishing. Patricia worked as a CNA and worked in retail sales; in addition to having been in the furniture industry in her younger years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Darlene Patricia Jones, and Frank "Eddie" Edward Copley. Those left to cherish her memory include her siblings, Linda Lou Gordon (Danny, who is preceded in death), Ronald W. Fowler (Cynthia), Deborah Lynn Jacob (Raymond), Jerry Don Fowler (Jan), and Carol Jean Jenkins (Ralph); grandchildren, Kimberly Yarbrough (Kasper), and Angel Phillips McCracken (Jimmy); great-grandchildren, Sierra, Evan, Jaden, and Austin; nieces and nephews, Bradley Jenkins, Tammy Fowler, Crystal Fowler, Natalie Gordon, Michelle Jones McCarson, and Billie Hutchins; seven great nephews, Tyler, Cameron, Brendan, Christian, Maxton, Luxen, and Banks; two great nieces, Linley and Kenna; and one great-great niece, Bella Marie.
A Service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Silver Valley Church of God with Pastor Ronald W. Fowler and Roy Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes before the service beginning at the church.
Graveside Services will follow the funeral at the Silver Valley Church of God Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Silver Valley Church of God, 1963 Old Highway 109, Silver Valley, North Carolina.
