Mrs. Patricia (Patsy) Sue Josey Lytton, 79, of Statesville, died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born in Catawba County on May 4, 1937, she was a daughter of the late John Alvia Josey and Naomi Sue Chapman Josey. On October 8, 1955, she married Mr. Lewis Wesley Lytton who survives. Mrs. Lytton was a member of Beulah Baptist Church where she enjoyed helping with Baptist Men’s mission trips. Family was first and foremost with her. In addition to mission trips, she enjoyed family vacations and teaching English as a second language. She was the book keeper for Wes Lytton Construction Company. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, David Lytton of Statesville, two daughters, Cindy Chapman (Rusty) of Statesville and Tina Johnson (Scott) of Stony Point, along with 7 grandchildren: Crystal Lytton, Wesley Lytton, Stephanie Hairyes, Matthew Johnson, Shane Cashion, Kaylyn Chapman and Cody Chapman and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Henry Cook officiating. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service and burial will follow in the Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online to the family to
