Pamela Anderson

Pamela Leigh Anderson, 54, of Statesville, passed away, Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Gordon Hospice House. Ms. Anderson was born January 3, 1960 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Anderson and Betty Williams Gentle and granddaughter of the late Lee and Elvis Anderson. She was a graduate of North Iredell High School and worked at Kewaunee Scientific Inc. for 19 years. She loved Duke Basketball, the Dallas Cowboys, and flowers and on every Mother's Day her girls would buy her flowers. She is survived by two daughters, Amanda Anderson (Jamie Rudd) of Statesville, Ashley Dison of Statesville, one grandson, Jayson Lee Rudd, step-mother, Arlene Anderson of Cherry Grove, SC, step-father, Cecil Gentle of Statesville and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by one infant granddaughter, Mya Parrott. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at Union Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Henderson and Rev. William Wease officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Nicholson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Nicholson Funeral Home, 135 E. Front St., Statesville, NC 28677 in honor of the funeral bill. Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the family.
