Mrs. Nancy Ruth Daywalt Ingram, 78, of Statesville, died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the Gordon Hospice House. She was born May 22, 1939 in Davie County and was a daughter of the late Melvin Theodore Daywalt and Viola Smith Daywalt. She was a graduate of Cool Spring High School. On March 27, 1965, she married Paul Thomas Ingram who survives. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Davie County. Nancy was Vice President & Secretary/Treasurer of Ingram Glass Works and was highly respected in her field, and she and Paul made a great team as they worked all over the country. She enjoyed reading and watching her favorite TV programs and loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and was a real people person. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Margaret Hayes (Calvin), of Statesville, Perry Thomas Ingram (Eric) of Charlotte, Robert (Bobby) Wayne Messick (Yvonne) of Harmony and Jamie C. Ingram of Statesville. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren: Joshua Hayes, Leigh Ann Sievers (Fawnna) and Bobbi Kay Messick, 4 great grandchildren: Elijah Combs, Jordan Sievers, Oakley Sievers and Landon Hayes along with a brother, George Harvey Daywalt of Davie County. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel With Rev. John Parks officiating. Burial will follow at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery at 169 Salem Church Road, Mocksville. Pallbearers will be: Billy Oates, Danny Lippard, Ed Marlow, Don Anders, Joshua C.
