She served for many years as Church Historian, Circle Member, and in the Church Library. Outside of family, Minnie’s favorite memories were of researching and participating in the history, and the life and growth of the Church. She relished the abundant friendships made that endured for decades. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, James E. Cashion, Sr.; her brothers Harry Brown and Kenneth Brown. Minnie is survived by her sons Jim Cashion, Jr., and wife Phyllis of Greenville, SC, and Bob Cashion, and wife Robin of Mount Pleasant, SC; grandchildren: Laura C. Fuller, James E. In a note: Minnie wrote in 1999 she expressed a simple message for us to remember: “Enjoy your blessings, and learn to laugh more, because laughing has a healing affect. Go and experience as much as you can, while you can. There will come a time when you can’t, but you will always have the memories.” Minnie always wanted to come home, and now she has.
