Mildred, our loving mother, always had her hands open to share or give to others. For years, she made and collected dolls that she would give to anyone that came to visit her. In her last years, she made quilts that were delivered to children in the Dominican Republic so they would have something to sleep on. She loved and cared for everyone. Mom, Nanny was dearly loved by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. And she loved her family more than anything.
Mom had a deep faith in Jesus Christ. Her love for God was apparent in how she lived her life daily. She was always there when any of us would ask her to pray. She prayed constantly for the salvation of all her family. Her support over the years has sustained all of us through many events, sad and happy alike. One day, mom, we will see you again, wearing the most beautiful crown.
We love you.
