Mickey Randall Leonard

Mickey Randall Leonard, age 69, of Thomasville, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Hospice of Davidson County-Hinkle Hospice House.  Born on December 5, 1954, in Davidson County, he was the son of the late Gurney Lee Leonard and Willie Mae Leonard.  Mr. Leonard was of Baptist faith who loved the outdoors and taking care of his family and friends.  He served six years in the National Guard.

In addition to his parents, Gurney and Willie Mae Leonard, he was preceded in death by his wife of eight years, Rosa Dubar Leonard; his brothers, Harold Leonard, Michael Leonard, Mitchell Leonard, and Franklin Leonard; and his niece, Kylie Leonard.  Left to cherish his memory include his sister, Martha Hollar; his nieces and nephews, Sharon Cranford (Darian), Ricky Hollar (Amy), Darrell Leonard (Kerri), and Kim Kelly (Scott); and great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauryn Hollar, Carrie Huskey, Morgan Hollar, Sabrina Cranford, Katie Cranford, and Landon Hollar.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Deanna King, his cousin, the Hospice of Davidson County, and to Solid Rock Baptist Church of Thomasville for their love, support and compassion they provided Mr. Leonard.

A Service to Honor his Life will be held at a future date.  Nicholson Funerals & Cremations, Thomasville Chapel has the honor of serving the family.
