WINSTON-SALEM-Mr. Mickey Dallas Foster, 76, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away at his home on March 28, 2021. Mr. Foster was born in Forsyth County, NC on March 17, 1945 to the late John Henry and Pauline Boles Foster. A veteran of the United States Air Force, much of Mickey's life revolved around his passion for cars. After driving his own race car (#88) at both Bowman Gray Stadium and 311 Speedway for several years, he went on to open and operate his own auto body shop (F&M) in Winston-Salem; later owning and operating AM Used Cars, as well. When not involved with cars (buying, selling, driving, racing, repairing, and rebuilding), he also enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, Mickey was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Foster. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years, Vickie Burcham Foster of the home; son Michael Foster of Winston-Salem; and several nieces and nephews. All are welcome to attend a memorial service celebrating Mickey's remarkable life at 2 PM on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Union Hill Baptist Church in Clemmons with Rev. Christopher Burcham officiating. A private interment will take place at Parklawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
