Melissa Lynn Haithcock

Melissa Lynn Haithcock, age 41, of Lexington, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Hospice of Davidson County, Hinkle Hospice House. Born on March 3, 1982 in Guilford County, NC, she was the daughter of Tony Haithcock and the late Dena Lafaye Robinson Jeffries.  

Melissa had a passion for the beach and truly loved her Lord.  She cherished "family time" and especially loved her grandchildren.  Those who knew Melissa could say she was a comedian who could light up a room.  Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 20 years, Darius Mims; daughter, Brianna Mims, Kala Mims, Ashley Mims, and Makira Schofield; grandchildren, Braylin Smith, Bryson Smith, and Bayleigh Smith; and sister, Angela Simmerman (Kevin Abernathy).

A Celebration of her Life will be held privately on Saturday, February 17, 2024.  Nicholson Funerals & Cremations, Thomasville Chapel has the honor of serving the family.
