Marilyn Fay Bradfield Mure

Marilyn Fay Bradfield Mure, age 89, of Statesville and formerly of Buffalo, New York, passed away peacefully with her son and daughter-in-law by her side on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born on October 30, 1933, in Buffalo, New York (Erie County), she was the daughter of the late Sedrick Bradfield and Marie Pucci Bradfield.
Mrs. Mure lived in Buffalo for 87 years before moving to Statesville in 2021 to be close to her son, Joe. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Sedrick and Marie Bradfield, she was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Joseph Mure; her sister, Sharon Kay Spagnuolo; and her nephew, Shawn Spagnuolo.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son and daughter-in-law, Major Joseph "Joe" Mure and Major JoAnn Mure; grandchildren, Joey Mure and his wife, Jessica, and Joslyn Kahan and her husband, David, and Tomeker Williams; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Michael Spagnuolo and his wife, Cynthia, Jamie Spagnuolo and his wife, Sandy, Liane Michalski and her husband, Peter, Nadine Spagnuolo, and Renee Paul and her husband, Larry; and many great nieces and great nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 4, 2023, in the Worship Center of The Salvation Army of Iredell County.
