Margaret Elizabeth Herrman Murphy, 81, of Statesville, died Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
She was born June 19, 1938 in Waverly, Virginia to the late Raymond Herrman and Anne Coolidge Herrman. Margaret was also preceded in death by her husband; Stanley Coleman Murphy, a son; Patrick Eugene Murphy and a grandchild; Bruce Murphy.
Margaret enjoyed NASCAR, her animals, fishing, crocheting and loved people that she met at Britts Amoco.
Those left to cherish her memory are a son; Anthony Coleman Murphy(Cheryl) of Missouri and a daughter; Terri Lynn Murphy Myrick of North Carolina, a brother and a sister, a daughter-in-law; Joan Murphy, a special niece & caregiver; Sandy Hagan of Statesville, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren great-grandchild; and a host of family and friends.
There will be no local services.
