Mrs. Margaret Salmon Knight

Mrs. Margaret Salmon Knight, 82, of Harmony, died Monday, April 15, 2019 at Davie Rehabilitation Center in Mocksville. Born in Iredell County on May 26, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Arch Joseph Salmon and Alva Shaw Salmon. She was also preceded in death by a son, David Kent Knight and a brother, A.J. Salmon, Jr.
She was a member of Rock Spring Baptist Church and was an L.P.N. for 53 years.
Survivors include her husband, Millard (Bobby) Knight, two sons, Tony Knight and his fiance’ Carrie Whittington and Larry Dean Knight and his wife, Maria. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday at Rock Spring Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Folk, Rev. Jessie Stroud and Rev. Steve Hedgecock officiatating. The family will greet friends at the church for one hour prior to the service and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
