Mrs. Loretta Campbell Bowles, 74, of Statesville, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Bowles was born October 10, 1943, in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Offie Campbell and Helen Campbell-Spann. She was a graduate of Iredell County schools. Mrs. Bowles was a retired supervisor with Duke Energy. She was a lifetime member and the backbone of Beulah Church. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Beverly Reese (Terry) and Jackie Shotzberger, both of Statesville, three sons, Jimmy Wilson (Susan) of Harmony, Mark Wilson (Jennifer) and Auzzie Carroll, both of Statesville; eight grandchildren, Shawna Lubrano (Antonio), Sherry Taylor (Michael), Katie, Kayla, Kristen, and Kace Wilson, Kyle Reese, John and Luke Shotzberger, and four great-grandchildren, Luigi and Olivia Lubrano and Gabriella and McKenzie Taylor. She is also survived by one brother, John Campbell (Sissy) of Ronda and three sisters, Catherine Hardy of Yadkinville, Josephine Royall, and Darlene Childress, both of Statesville. Funeral services honoring the life of Loretta Bowles will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Beulah Church with Pastor Jeff Moody and Pastor Donald Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Beulah Church cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at Nicholson Funeral Home.
