Lonnie Gene Hunt

Lonnie Gene Hunt, age 49, of Lexington, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston Salem. Born on March 20, 1973, in Davidson County, NC, he was the son of the late Gary Hunt and Sallie Jean Hicks Hunt.
Lonnie had a passion for decorating for his favorite holiday's which were Christmas and Halloween; especially with paper mâché. He loved spending time with his family and cherished his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Sallie Jean Hunt. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Angela Minerd Hunt; children, Tamra Titman and Lonnie Minerd (Brittany); grandchildren, Kenyon Titman, Bryson Minerd, and Bentley Minerd; brothers, Gary Hunt, and Terry Hunt (Sharon); and nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Heather, Savannah, Tieara, Travis, Haley, Cameron, Abbie, and Austin.
A private service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. Nicholson Funerals & Cremations, Thomasville Chapel has the honor of serving the family.
