She was a member of the Wesley Friendship Circle. A group of younger women in the church formed the Bass-Beck Circle, naming it in honor of Lois and Margie Bass, the wife of Rev. William Bass, a former minister of the church. She was Chair of the Administrative Council and Chair of the United Methodist Women. She was a former President of the Wesley Adult Fellowship  and served as a member of the Finance Committee.
