Linda Bennett Godwin

Linda Bennett Godwin, aged 82, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, in Davidson County, North Carolina. Born on March 31, 1942, in Guilford County, North Carolina, Linda was a beloved member of her community and family.

Linda dedicated over 30 years of her life to the manufacturing industry as a skilled lamp maker. Her work ethic and dedication were admired by all who knew her. Outside of her professional life, she found joy in simple pleasures, such as attending yard sales, shopping, and most importantly, raising her beloved children.

A devoted Baptist, Linda held her faith and family close to her heart throughout her life. She was a cherished member of both her church and family, where her warm spirit and caring nature touched many lives.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, Bill Bennett, her mother, Mary Bennett, and her daughter, Debbie White. Her legacy of love and kindness continues through her surviving daughter, Donna Nicholson, her grandson, Jason Bowles, three great-grandchildren, her sister, Peggy Rogers, and her brother, Billy Bennett.

Though no services will be held at this time, those who wish to honor Linda's memory may do so through flowers sent in remembrance of her.

Linda Bennett Godwin will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her steadfast faith, and her gentle, compassionate soul. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
