Linda Kay (Baker) Brandenburg

Linda Kay Baker Brandenburg, 74, of Statesville, died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born in Mooresville on September 11, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Harry Baker and Avis Williams Baker Webster. On November 19, 1966 she married Mr. Richard Brandenburg who survives.

She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness congregation in Statesville and enjoyed being with and helping people. Through the years she worked in residential cleaning and bookkeeping.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Michael Brandenburg and his wife, Sara and Scott Brandenburg and his wife, Jennifer.

Also surviving are a half-brother, Ronnie Baker and a half-sister, Bonita Thomas, along with a niece, Jennifer Rife.

Services celebrating Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 4:00 at Kingdom Hall, West Congregation, 318 James Farm Rd, Statesville. Private burial will precede the service at Willow Valley Cemetery in Mooresville.
