Larry Patterson

Mr. Larry Norman Patterson, 65, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at his home following a lengthy illness. Mr. Patterson was born January 14, 1947 in Iredell County and was the son of the late Harry Morris and Kathleen Johnson Patterson. He was a graduate of Iredell County schools and he was married to Debbie Hill Patterson, who survives. Prior to his disability, Mr. Patterson was employed in the maintenance dept with the Iredell County Schools. In addition to his parents, Mr. Patterson was also preceded in death by a brother, Bob Patterson. Along with his wife Debbie of the home, Mr. Patterson is survived by one son, Patrick Patterson (Stacie) of Statesville and one daughter, Trudy Dillard of Troutman. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles Patterson of Greer, SC and Gayle Patterson of Statesville along with four grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm today, (Friday) in the Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside services.
