Larry Dempsey Fritts, Sr.

THOMASVILLE-Mr. Larry Dempsey Fritts, Sr., 88, of Thomasville, NC passed away September 30, 2021 at Accordius Health of Salisbury. Mr. Fritts was born August 4, 1933 in Asheboro, NC to the late Carl and Daisy Beck Fritts and served in the U.S. Army before beginning his 40 year career as a salesman with Slate Specialty Sales and Quality Wholesale Meats. Dempsey attended Faith Community Chapel and was very much a people person. He loved all "ball" sports and enjoyed playing ball with all the church kids. In addition to his parents Mr. Fritts is preceded in death by his wife Janell Crotts Fritts, four brothers George, Byron, Clyde, and Don Fritts, and three sisters Kat Sullivan, Mary Clark, and Audrey Disher. Left to cherish his memories are his son Dempsey Fritts, Jr. (Debbie) of Thomasville, two granddaughters Tracy Rowe of Thomasville and Tamra Rowe (Jonathan) of Lexington, three great-grandchildren Abby Williams, Katie Rowe, and Matthew Rowe, and one great-great granddaughter Sophia Loman.
