Mr. William Keith Wiseman, 70, of Winston-Salem and formerly of Statesville, NC, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013, at Iredell Memorial Hospital following an unexpected illness. Mr. Wiseman was born January 5, 1943 in Statesville, NC and was the son of the late Ira Lee and Evelyn B. Wiseman. He graduated Statesville High School class of 1961, attended East Carolina University and graduated from Gaston Tech with an Associate's Degree. In 1963, he was married to the former Rita Morrison of Statesville. He was a retired project manager in commercial construction and he attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Winston-Salem. Keith enjoyed gardening, reconnecting with old friends and classmates and had a soft heart for animals, especially his beloved companion Brownie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Martin Wiseman. He is survived by one son, William Keith Wiseman, Jr., of Dallas, TX, two daughters, Katherine "Kate" Lee Wiseman (Robbie Dunn) of Durham, NC and B. Lynne Wiseman (Nicole Blankenbeckler) of Richmond, VA. Two nephews, Bradley Justin Wiseman and Jason Daniel Wiseman also survive. A celebration of life service will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Matthew Reilly officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Wednesday at Nicholson Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will be Jim Stikeleather, David Pope, Jim Eisele, Jim Tsumas, Robbie Dunn, and Michael Padgett. Memorials may be made to the Brown Dog Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists pets in need, 825 North Cholla Street, Chandler, AZ 85224.
