Keith Christopher Herrington

Keith “Rocketman” Herrington, 46, of Statesville died Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
He was born on July 1, 1972 in Schenectady, New York to Allen Harrington and Dale Schelling Bills. Keith graduated from West Rutland High School in Vermont where he grew up. Before his disability, he was a campground host with Carolina Hemlocks Campground. Keith enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, hunting and just being outdoors. He also loved his family and friends and especially loved cooking for them. His favorite quote was “You’re here for a good time, not a long time”.
Keith is survived by a son; Kyler Herrington. He also leaves behind Tammy Sisk, his significant other for many years.
There will be no formal services for Keith.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the Herrington family.
